About Creative Thinkers
Creative Thinkers is a nonprofit in Yuba City. We run weekly tutoring, writing and boxing clubs for teens ages 13 to 18, and we help organize the Downtown Yuba City Night Market. Founded in 2020, Creative Thinkers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Where we meet
Our clubs meet at Steele House Coffee, 437 Center St, Yuba City.
Meet the team
Joseph Steele, Founder and CEO. Joseph brings 15 years of experience in media production, community programs, youth development and small business. He owns Steele House Coffee and Dreambound Productions.
Jon Tice, CFO. Jon is a U.S. Army veteran who has taught junior high and high school students in the Yuba-Sutter area for over 10 years.
Christina Hart, COO. Christina has run her own small business for 20 years and is a mother of three. She leads our outreach to the community.
A.J. Hart, Chief Director of Construction. A.J. is a U.S. Navy veteran with over 30 years in construction and contracting. He owns Harts Home Construction.
Mike Bancroft, VP Operations. Mike coordinates the Yuba City Night Market and its events.
What we believe: Kids hunger to accomplish things. We give them a place to start, a mentor to keep them going, and a reason to finish.
